Box of Puppies Bronze Statue - Set of 2 - 1932
$6,000.00Price
Avard T. Fairbanks, Ph.D., Sculptor, was interested in doing animal sculpture from an early age. During the Michigan Period, the family had a female Boston Terrier bulldog named “Poochie.” When she produced a litter of puppies, Avard Fairbanks created two matched but different sculptures of three puppies each, resting in two cigar boxes. These are delightful representations to anyone who has been involved with puppies.
Castings of the puppies in the boxes can be made available in a set in cast stone, bronze or resin for interested parties.
