Boy with a Train - 1927
$4,000.00Price
The Boy with a Train is a low-relief portrait of the son of a dentist in Oregon which Avard Fairbanks created in 1927.
It demonstrates a boy showing interest in a miniature 0-gauge electric train, with one hand on the engine and the other hand on the passenger cars. The train has been identified as one of the Dorfan line of toy trains which was rarer than Ives, Lionel, or American Flyer.
A bronze casting of the relief, Boy with a Train, can be made available for purchase.
