Boy with a Train Relief
This relief was created by Avard T. Fairbanks in 1927 when he was on the faculty at the University of Oregon. This represents a boy lovingly placing his hands on an 0-gauge electric toy train which has been identified as of the Dorfan line with three pullman cars. It was commissioned by a dentist in Oregon. His son was the model. A bronze relief has been donated to the National Toy Train Museum in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. The Boy with a Train is available in a postmortem casting.
