Boy with a Train Relief

Boy with a Train Relief

$4,000.00Price

This relief was created by Avard T. Fairbanks in 1927 when he was serving on the faculty at the University of Oregon.  This represents a boy lovingly placing his hands on a 0-gauge electric toy train which has been identified as of the Dorfan line with three pullman cars.

It was commissioned by a dentist in Oregon.  His son was the model.  A bronze relief has been donated to the National Toy Train Museum in Strasburg, Pennsylvania.

The Boy with a Train can be made available as a postmortem bronze casting.
