This is a circular bronze shield with classical Greek motifs around the perimeter and a central winged horse arising from a cloud in the center disc.
It was cast in bronze and placed on the floor of a garden patio at the home of Dr. Paul Whitehead and his wife, Marilyn, as a fitting addition to their personal sculpture gardens.
