Jesus Christ

This is painted after the colossal sculptured head of Christ by Avard T. Fairbanks, which the sculptor had hoped to be placed in Jerusalem.  The artist’s copy made it into an oil painting with life-like colors.  The colossal sculpture exists today only in photographs as it was, unfortunately, destroyed.  The painting copy was made by Grant R. Fairbanks, M.D.
