Madonna and Child Intaglio/Relief Bronze Statue - 1936
$0.00Price
The Madonna and Child Mary & Jesus became a favorite theme of sculptor, Avard T. Fairbanks, Ph.D. Undoubtedly, the two years he spent in Italy on a Guggenheim Fellowship in Florence in 1928-1929 imbued him with interest in certain classic themes, including Mary & Jesus.
He produced the Madonna & Child in 1936 in a small low relief/plaque form as well as an identical larger form in the type of sculpture known as Intaglio which, when lighted below, would show as a positive life-like image.
Castings of the small low relief (dimensions will later be supplied) can be made available in resin or bronze.
