This is an oil painting made on site of the back side of Mount Timpanogos from the summit of American Fork Canyon in 1992.
A number of other artists were there painting the site along with my brother, Jonathan L. Fairbanks. Some of the painting was dramatically produced with the palette knife.
The painting has been reproduced a number of times as a giclee.

Although a Giclee lacks the surface texture of the original oil painting, when framed, and on the wall, it will appear to be identical. High-quality reproductions of museum-quality will last almost indefinitely without significant fading.
