This is an oil painting by Grant R. Fairbanks of Devil’s Peak at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon painting in (date 1960). The original painting was given to Robert Hall, M.D., who was the delivering obstetrician of Dr. Fairbanks’s first child – Grant A. Fairbanks. It was found in an antique store many years later and re-purchased.

Although a Giclee lacks the surface texture of the original oil painting, when framed, and on the wall, it will appear to be identical. High-quality reproductions of museum-quality will last almost indefinitely without significant fading.
