Nebula - 1934
$30,000.00Price
The statue of Nebula represents another combination of natural phenomenon with the human figure. This statue was designed with a female figure enclosed in a circular orbit in a graceful form. Nebula was created in 1934 during the Michigan Period, also from the live model who had the perfect body of ideal female proportions.
It was exhibited in the 1939 World’s Fair in New York City. A noted anthropologist stated, “All the Venuses must hide their laurels since Fairbanks created Nebula.” A bronze premortem casting of Nebula is on exhibit in the Brookgreen Gardens.
A postmortem bronze casting can be made available for purchase of this remarkable life-size statue.
