This oil painting by Grant R. Fairbanks, M.D. is a copy of the sculptured head of the famous Egyptian Queen. The classic and most beautiful Egyptian artwork ever discovered was the head of Nefertiti, the wife of Pharoah Akhenaten. Although the original colored statue is missing one eye and one ear, these have been restored by the artist in the oil painting. The goal of this copy is to bring Queen Nefertiti to a life like rendition.
