Salt Lake Valley Sunset
$500.00Price
This particular sunset scene is a copy by Grant R. Fairbanks, M.D. in 2004, of a painting by his grandfather J.B. Fairbanks showing a meadow harvesting in the Salt Lake Valley, looking toward the Oquirrh Mountains. The original painting was loaned to Dr. Fairbanks by a patient who owned it so he could make a copy of it. The painting was made in 1903.
Utah sunset landscapes were one of the favorite subjects of John B. Fairbanks. John B. Fairbanks was an early Utah artist who studied in Paris, France. He was the father of Avard T. Fairbanks.
