Plant, Bottle, Snail - 1958

$400.00Price

This Still Life painted by Grant R. Fairbanks, M.D., in 1956 together with his brother, Jonathan L. Fairbanks, who painted the same scene.

This was done by arranging a potted plant, an old bottle, and a white snail shell carefully positioned on a velvet rape with a ray of sunshine from a window beaming through the bottle.

This was painted in the Old Art Studio of J.B. Fairbanks in its original location.
