Sego Lily - 1949
$20,000.00Price
The graceful curved female figure called Sego Lily was one of the few garden figures created by Avard T. Fairbanks during the Utah Period. It was created in Utah after 1948, but bears no date.
The statue features a female figure in a beautiful S-curve holding a floral design from which a spout of water is emitted. The Sego Lily is the State Flower of the State of Utah. Unlike most of his garden and figure studies, this figure is not nude as are most of his garden figure studies. It has a flowing gown lightly draping an anatomically perfect body.
It can be made available for purchase in a bronze casting.
