The Indian Bronze Relief - 1915
These are two high-relief vertical rectangular plaques which are paired, and the figures are standing opposite one another so as to be facing each other. Even as a youth ATF had a great interest in history, this is well demonstrated in the high relief statues of Ute Indian and the frontiersman. the Indian holds his early knowledge of anatomy as well demonstrated int he body of the Indian, which is holding arrows behind and an unstrung bow in his left hand. They were provided in colored plaster casting in many of Utah's public school buildings.
They were created by Avard T. Fairbanks in his youthful years, 1915 and were provided in colored plaster to many of the Utah public schools.
