Michelle
$800.00Price
This is a large oil painting created in 2011 by Grant R. Fairbanks, M.D., painted directly from a hired model named Michelle. Dr. Fairbanks met the model when she was serving as a grocery store clerk. She came to his car to help unload his groceries. He noted that her face had virtually perfect proportions; therefore, he asked her if she would pose for him, explaining that he teaches art and sculpture to plastic surgeons annually at the National Meetings. She agreed, and the result was two portraits (one unfinished), this one in a Renaissance dress with bared shoulders.
This painting can be made available for purchase by interested parties as a giclée.

- Copies of the original artworks are available for purchase as Giclees – a color copy on canvas. Although a Giclee lacks the surface texture of the original oil painting, when framed, and on the wall, it will appear to be identical. High-quality reproductions of museum-quality will last almost indefinitely without significant fading.
- Original oil paintings may be obtained by commission from the artist; however, due to time and effort required, they come at a significantly higher cost than the Giclee.
